I signed up with Zenfolio a few weeks ago for hosting of my image galleries. Zenfolio just had a major upgrade with lots of new possibilities for styling your own templates. Have a look at my gallery at http://gallery.bkkphotography.com to see an example. For the first run I’m very impressed, will do a bit further tweaking over the weekend, but there is not much to change.
